If the media is going to be consistent the fighting in Basra should be called ‘The War On Iran.’

I used to listen to Talk Radio because it was informative. Except for the John Batchelor Show on ABC and KFI and the Loftus Report that is sadly no longer true.

One other point. Basra might be called “Benchmark”. A gauntlet was thrown down; it was picked up by Al Maliki; and the bully on the block either has to put up or shut up. Iraq has an army that now can fight. This not only a benchmark for Al Maliki; it’s a benchmark for the Bush strategy. The Democrats may not know it (or admit it if it happens), but this just might be Waterloo — with the good guys winning, again.
