A $100 million dollar - recipient conspicuously unnamed in the legislation – blind bribery payoff included in Senator Harry Reid’s late night 383 page ‘addendum’ to his already 2000+ page wealth snare bill turns out to be going to … (drum roll please …) Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut!
Guesses as to who the bribe had been earmarked for had ranged from Democrat Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana to the brilliant John Fund of the Wall Street Journal guess that it was a one hundred million dollar rainy day bribe for anybody in the future that it was deemed necessary to give it to.
Short term – the most furious opponents to Washington’s current round of fascist insanity are going to be the governors whose states are set to be left with the check, instead of holding the bag, as a result of their Democrat Senators back room horse/slave trading.
And Chris Dodd’s still going down in the 2010 elections …
