A Call To Arms? Why Not A Call To Green! Bemoaning A Missed Opportunity.
As the ‘Meltdown Man’ scandal threatens to cut the legs out from under the climate astrologers in the West the environmental movement should emulate the capitalists they despise and seek out and open up a new market … in Afghanistan!
If ever there was a country that’s long needed an anti-littering campaign …
As home to decades of war Afghanistan is ‘litter’ally covered in piles upon piles of metal recyclables. Tanks, helicopter gunships, rusting uniform belt buckles, and all those unexploded shells that are both an eyesore and the makings of so many of the IEDs killing NATO forces. A call by President Obama for the reinvigoration of the spirit of Afghani volunteerism and the creation of an Afghanistan Green Movement could reinspire the Left, put the Republicans back out in the environmental cold, create green jobs to replace opium farming, clean up garbage pile IED hiding places, deprive terrorists of the raw materials to make IEDs, and best of all a clean Afghanistan would be an Afghanistan more conducive to tourism.
Could Mickey Mullahland and the good jobs that would create be far behind?
It’s time President Obama realized that the last thing Afghanistan needs is more soldiers. Instead how about trying recycling centers, a ten-cent return deposit on spent shells, and maybe even Van Jones.

Can we get ACORN to recruit our unemployed; can we get them green-cards; or will ACORN have to sneak them across the boarder? Can ACORN work with the ACLU on this?
