Obama creaks ominous invisible under a sodden wall-to-wall pitter pating shag rush of fleeing rats … The prognosticators of the American Left are in a race against time to get ahead OF A STORY OF THEIR OWN MAKING ‘President Barack Obama.’ The opinion fabricators who did EVERYTHING THEY COULD to saddle the United States with Jimmy Carter’s second term are flailing all over themselves to set their record straight with their ‘second thoughts’ a year late and ten trillion dollars short.

Maureen Dowd, Matt Tiabbi, and a bunch of other names I don’t even want to try to remember let alone Google for their archives let alone read - want us to take them seriously again next year – so its damage control this year.

Does this mean in 2013 they’ll be falling all over themselves to tell us how they’ve always known Governor Sarah Palin was made of remarkable presidential timber and that they’ve been QUIETLY rooting for her the whole time?

As if their opinions ever mattered.
