This is a 100% political move to point out that Obama will not permit, as did Bush, torture (which in my opinion)was never done; that he (unlike Bush) believes everyone has the right to “justice” and that (by inference) a military tribunal cannot administer just “justice; and that, he (Obama), wants to emphasize to the world that he is bringing back the idea of …liberty and justice for all…” — again, contrary to the Bush philosophy.
