The glass is 2/3rds full. The Republican Party has Left-Republicans, Middle-Republicans, and Right-Republicans; the Republican Party candidate(s) needs a respect from each “faction”, and an understanding for the political position of the candidate(s). If a Republican doesn’t like the candidate — don’t vote for the candidate, but he/she should shut-up and still support the rest of the ticket. This election shows that voters have left each party and have become independent. Extreme candidates are not going to appeal to the independent; and each party needs the independent vote. And last — the Republicans have to start accepting the fact the party elects someone to office to govern; the person is not elected to form a religious order that establishes “morals” for the country.
